How do I get my group on the directory?

When you create a group on MeWe, you have the option to make it Private, Selective, or Open, and if it's Selective or Open, you have the choice to include it on the MeWe group directory or not. For a group to be listed in the directory, it must be a Selective or Open group with the option selected to include it in the directory, it must have at least five members, and its most recent post must not be more than two weeks old. If it is set to be on the directory but it has less than five members and/or its newest post is more than two weeks old, it will not be listed on the directory, though it can still be found by searching key terms in the search bar, or by inviting others to the group, whether by direct invite over MeWe or by sharing the group's invite link.

If your group was on the directory, but then lost enough members to go below five and/or didn't receive a new post for more than two weeks, we will notify you that your group has been removed from the public directory, and what you can do to return it there. As stated above, your group can still be found via the search bar or the invite link if it is no longer on the directory. If your group was removed for lack of membership, you'll need to invite more members before your group can be reinstated on the directory. If your group was removed for lack of activity, you'll need to post something new in your group to have your group appear in the directory again. We do this to help ensure that all the groups in the directory list are active and large enough to interest most of our other members who may be browsing the category your group is under.
